Walking down the streets of the crummy city, Riku felt extremely lost. And not just in the way that means “lost in a big place” or something like that. He was also feeling a little bit lost without his two best friends walking right beside him. They were always being separated so it seemed. He thought about the two every day. Sometimes, he even tried to forget that he was alone, but the thoughts would never leave his head, no matter what he tried to do. There was one answer he could think of. Him, Sora, and Kairi’s destinies were intertwined. They’d always remain a part of each other’s lives, no matter what happened.  Still walking hopelessly, that’s when he saw it. That oh so familiar figure.

It was her. It had to be her. The girl he had been best friends for practically all of his life. That girl was Kairi. Catching a glimpse of her figure in the distance, it was time to pick up the pace and get to her. It was really happening. They were finally reuniting once again. Running as fast as he could to get to his best friend, he couldn’t help but feel excitement running throughout his whole body. Within a minute, he finally reached her. It was her. It was definitely her. He could be absolutely sure now. Catching his breath as he stopped, he couldn’t wait to greet her once again.

“Kairi! It’s really you! I can’t believe that we were separated again. But now… Now you’re here. You’re safe. You don’t know how glad I am that your safe Kairi. I’ve been thinking about you and Sora all of the time, ever since I got here.”

After saying the words he needed to get out of his body, he was quick in pulling Kairi into a hug. It was almost too good to be true.

It felt as though history was about to repeat itself, this situation giving her the unwanted feeling that she was going to end up waiting alone again, at least for now there were no cages. Still, this place was freaky, the busy cars, the busy people, the lights painting the floors rainbow. It was all so sudden, so weird, that Kairi really did begin to feel that it was all just a dream, remind her never to eat too many sea-salt ice creams before bed again.

She was about to give up searching, maybe asking a passer by would be useful, although by the looks of things, everyone else was too busy either rushing to their wanted destinations, or sorting their own problems out, who would put their precious time aside to help a red-headed teenager? She couldn’t help but feel slightly sick at the thoughts of being alone again, it had seemed that the three would always find themselves getting into all sorts of trouble, as if fate was trying to win over their desired destinies.

If that’s the case though, fate would have to try again, because Kairi then spotted a silver-haired boy racing through the crowds towards her, and Kairi’s face lit up. It was Riku, Riku was here.

“Riku! O-Over here!”

As Riku had finally caught up, Kairi couldn’t help but stupidly grin at his words, then finding herself being pulled into a hug, and she hugged back.

“I’m so relieved you are here! I was waiting.. and I was beginning to think that you wouldn’t show up.”

“I’m glad too Riku.. as long as we’re together.”

Then all would be fine, right? The three had found themselves in tougher situations than this before, after all.

“Do you know where we are, exactly?”

Wandering around, Sora noticed a red haired girl sitting on a nearby bench . ‘It…it couldn’t be…could it ?’ He couldn’t help but get his hopes up and soon found himself running towards the sitting figure .

“K-kairi !” He called out, running towards her . “Kairi !”

When he finally reached the girl, he bent over to catch his breath . Sprinting like that for an extended time wasn’t really called for . When he looked up, he grinned when he saw the familiar, currently shocked, face . “It really is you ! Kairi .”

He let out a sigh of relief . He had found his two friends . There was nothing to worry about anymore . ‘Well, nothing to worry about for now .’

Kairi was just beginning to give up on looking, feeling quite let down and thinking that maybe Sora and Riku hadn’t made it here, which made Kairi worry, for she had no idea what happened to the island. What if they were both in danger, it was a possibility since the two seemed to get themselves into all sorts of trouble, no matter where they were.

But of course, Kairi was wrong. Hearing the familiar voice not too far away, she turned her head quickly in it’s direction, the voice getting closer, and then discovering that it was indeed who she had hoped for, it was Sora! Kairi knelt up on the bench, her smile couldn’t get any wider, feeling so relieved that she wasn’t alone!

“Sora! It’s really you!”

“I’m so relieved that you’re here, you have no idea.”

She had so many questions to ask, but by the looks of it, maybe Sora had just arrived too, meaning that he would only know as much as she did.

“How long have you been here for?”

It definitely wasn’t the first time that Kairi had lost her home and ended up somewhere new. Hell, it seemed to have been becoming some sort of a habbit, she just hoped that both Sora and Riku had made it safely from the island too. Kairi was sitting down on a bench, her body leaning back against the wooden frame. Slowly opening her eyes, Kairi blinked in shock to see not palm trees or sand, but instead busy roads, street lamps, cars, and loads of busy people rushing back and forth. She wanted to shout, but it seemed unlikely that anyone would stop and listen, the people here didn’t seem.. normal.

In fact, not all even were human. There were creatures of different shapes and sizes, some seemed normal and nice enough, but others seemed dangerous, mysterious, and terrifying. Kairi didn’t move an inch, but instead remained sitting up on the bench, her ocean optics scanning throughout the many people. …No, she couldn’t spot them. Sora and Riku were easy to point out in crowds, Sora having brown spikey hair, and Riku having long silver strands, but there wasn’t a single glance of them.

Calm down Kairi, there was no need to get fussed about this right? In these situations, the best thing to do was to remain calm of course, getting worried and panicking wasn’t going to solve anything at all.

“I wonder.. where I am..”

She said to herself, though hopefully at least someone would hear her and help, help would be.. helpful right about now.

Brief biography: Kairi is the Seventh Princess of heart, born and raised until she was 5 at Radiant Gardens by her Grandmother, but then moved to Destiny Islands, they believed it would be interesting to see what would happen by putting Kairi on the same island as Sora and Riku. From then on, Kairi became some sort of love interest for the both of them. As the years progressed, the three decided to build a raft and travel across the worlds, though Destiny Islands is soon covered in darkness, and Kairi after is no where to be seen. Later, Kairi is found by Riku, but she is nothing but an empty shell, Riku then sets out on his own path to help wake up Kairi, while Sora sets out to find them both. After Sora realises that Kairi’s heart was resting inside of him, Sora uses Riku’s keyblade to set free the heart, Kairi then awakens but Sora turns into a heartless. Kairi discovers this though and helps rescue Sora then. After that, Kairi is left back on the island on her own and so waits for Sora and Riku’s return. A year passes, and during that time, Kairi’s memories of Sora are gone, though soon after Kairi begins to remember him again. When she does, she encounters Axel who attempts to kidnap Kairi, but Kairi ends up running of by herself, later than getting caught by Saix and put into a cage. Unexpectedly then, Kairi is freed by Namine, and she quickly rushes to find Riku, and then Sora. Then, the three are again united, but it isn’t long until they are split up again, Kairi again being left on the island to wait, though this time Sora and Riku do return.

[ And of course Kairi never expected to open her eyes to see a blanket of blue. Usually, it’d be the cream ceiling of her bedroom, with the odd sticker here and there, but this time? Nope. Kairi blinked in sudden shock as she came to a realization of her whereabouts, in which, was where exactly? She could see a lot of blue sky, hills, water, dust, some gravel here and there. Yes, this was definitely not Destiny Island.. in fact, it wasn’t an island at all.
To be honest, this wasn’t exactly new to Kairi at all. Although this place was new to her, it wasn’t the first time that she had been kidnapped, assuming that she had been kidnapped this time. Well, what else could have lead her here? Unless, it was some trick of fate? Destiny? Of course, it was too early to figure out reasons to why she was here. Firstly, Kairi would have to look for any other people, hoping that she wasn’t the only person around.
She straightened up her posture and placed her left hand to shelter her eyes, squinting out into her surroundings. ]
